I am originally from South Shropshire and lived there for my early years before moving to London in 2000. I have lived and worked in London for 12 years and am currently based in South West London with my wife, Tilly.
I have been interested in photography for as long as I can remember, and was always the person holding the camera at parties or on holidays! My interest developed when I got my first digital camera for a trip to Thailand in 2004, and this was taken to the next level with the purchase of my first DSLR - a Canon 400D in 2007 for a trip to South Africa. I subsequently upgraded to a Canon 7D which I found to be a great all rounder for both wildlife and landscape photography. Most recently I have purchased a full frame Canon 5D Mk III which is fantastic and excellent for landscapes in particular.
My time living in Shropshire has given me a passion for the UK countryside, which I have managed to combine with my interest in landscape and wildlife photography. I love exploring both new and familiar locations in the UK but also take my camera with me when travelling abroad to pursue my interest in travel photography.
As well as these areas, I have been an official wedding photographer on two occasions and really enjoyed the experience and I would like to get the chance to cover more weddings in the future.
